Bike Porn!

The rig is finally coming together. The frame is a no-name Taiwan aluminum build I got online back in 2005. It's built up with Ultegra 6600 10-speed shifters and rear derailleur, an FSA slk carbon crankset, Cane Creek headset and CR-5 brakes, and a Selle San Marco SKN saddle. I swapped out the Ritchie stem and seat post with Profile Design parts to get a better fit. All told, she weighs in at just 16.5 lbs. Not too shabby for a tri-bike.

It took me a few weeks to get the bike set up with all the gadgets I bought over the past month. I got the wheels back in November (Real Design Supersonic 60). Santa brought me the new Profile Design carbon aerobar and stem, which are integrated (and took me a LOT longer to set up than I expected). My bro got me the Profile bottle cage behind the saddle for Christmas. After cleaning the cassette and chain, I mounted the new wheels and cleaned everything else up. I can't wait to get it out on the road, but I'll be starting up on the trainer in a few days, and with it being dark so early during weeknights, it might be a while til I get out there for day time rides.
